2013 129th YATOO International Project Nature Art Summer Workshop

 

There was the 129th YATOO Internal Project Nature Art Summer Workshop at the Wongol YATOO Nature Art House in Gongju Korea. In special 14 members of the Korean Outdoor Installation Group MAGAMNEW*(chairman, Choi, Yong-sun) and invited artists including 4 foreign artists who are participating YATOO International Artist in Residence joined this season workshop.

 

*MAGAMNEWS

Outdoor installation group MAGAMNEWS was founded in 1992. First, Several young artists gathered in Masuk for fun, but art working open air and using nature material and sharing their experience gave inspiration to whom were sick and tired of white cube. So they met and made the group ‘MAGAMNEWS’. Member of MAGAMNEWS is consist of about 25artists, and invite some guests every year.

Since 1992, MAGAMNEWS has been finding new sites, Yangpyeong, Taebaek, Seongnam, Incheon, Sokcho, Anseong ,Paju ,Gapyeong, Anyang and so on. 27 exhibitions was held around gyeoggi province. To communicate fresh places make MAGAMNEWS extend nature art and individual artwork. and also human network in group support each other tightly.
