Nature-Song by Kim Jung-soo 2019-Summer

김정수 작가는 그동안 자연미술워크숍에서는 한 번도 본적이 없는 독특한 작업을 선보였다. 그녀는 둥그런 바위위에 앉아 잠시 숨을 고른 후 바위를 손바닥으로 네 번 바위를 내린 친후 노래를 하기 시작했다. 처음에는 가사 없이 이~야~어~이~야 라는 소리를 흥얼거리듯이 바람을 타듯이 몸을 움직이면서 소리를 내었다. 그러다가 어느 시점부터 “바람아 불어와 우리에 품에 안겨 함께 부르자” 라고 노래하였다. 그 순간 숲속 바람이 그가 앉아 있는 바위 위에 나무를 세게 흔들면서 화답하였다. 나는 이제 까지 이토록 깊은 인상을 주는 노래를 들어 본 적이 없다. 김정수 작가는 이 노래를 연습한 적이 없고 한 번도 불러본 적이 없었다고 했다. 바위를 손바닥으로 내리치는 도입부터 보는 이들을 끌어들인 김정수 작가는 완전히 자연과 자신의 목소리에 몰입하였다. 자연 속에서 자연의 영감을 따라 작업하는 많은 작업들이 있었지만 즉흥적으로 노래하는 퍼포먼스 작업은 처음이다. 이 작업은 아래 동영상 첫 부분에서 볼 수 있다.

 

Kim Jung-soo has presented unique works that have never been seen in a nature art workshop before. She sat on a round rock, took a breath, and then began singing after hitting the rock four times with her palm. At first, she made a sound as if moving in the wind. She was humming the sound of I ~ YA ~ UH ~ Y ~ Ya without lyrics. Then, at some point, he sang, "Let the wind blow with us in our arms." At that moment, the wind in the woods shook the tree hard on the rock on which he sat. I have never heard a song that impresses so much. Kim Jung-su said that she had never practiced this song and had never sung it. Kim Jung-soo, who attracted viewers from the introduction hitting rock with her palms, was completely immersed in nature and her voice. There have been many works that follow the inspiration of nature in nature, but this is the first time performed song improvises in the Nature Art Workshop.
