Recollection of Windows

Title: Recollection of Windows

Old windows taken from a closed school may remember the sounds of students who once studied here. I connected the windows together to form a circle. Then, I found some discarded objects which might have been used previously by these children. With these objects in hand, I felt them one by one. Then, I took photos of this encounter and set these images within the window frames. Now, when the wind blows, the windows will shake, thereby releasing the memories of the students as tiny lights within the installation.

 

题目：窗的回忆

从一所关闭的学校里拆下来的旧窗户，可能还记得曾经在这里读书的学生的声音。我把窗户连成一个圆圈。然后，我收集了一些被丢弃的物品，这些物品以前可能是被这些孩子使用过的。有了这些物品在我手中，我一个一个地感受它们。然后，我拍下了这些遭遇物品的照片，并在窗框中设置了这些图像。现在，当风刮起来，窗户会摇晃，重现当时这些学生的记忆，就像装置中的小灯一样。
