Rajib Bhattacharjee

 

Rajib Bhattacharjee is an independent creative practitioner from Kolkata. Studied bachelor of electronics at Calcutta University and studied art at Government College of art and craft Kolkata. He likes to handle different medium, from painting, installation, prints, video, etc. He visited  Chinese calligraphy society of Singapore to learn the art and history of Chinese calligraphy of Singapore. He has been participating in different group and solo shows across India and abroad. Twice invited to represent India in Beijing international art biennale, 2010 and 2012. he was selected  among  the top 20 artist at the Bussan biennale south Korea (2013-2014) . His work was in the Santorini biennale poster show, Greece 2013. He was invited as artist in residence at gallery in the garden, Plovdiv, Bulgaria 2012. He was the invited artist of academy of fine arts annual 2013, Kolkata , India . He is the recipient of artist in residence at Korea nature artist association,..yatoo South Korea 2014. Held solo exhibition at gallery time and space, Bangalore, India. Held solo exhibition at gallery finix , Belgrade , Serbia . Exhibition of artist residence programme , gnab, yatoo south Korea 2014 . Curated independent residency and creative communes first collective nature art workshop and public interactive programme in kumrokashipur village, Habra , West Bengal , India 2014 …….. He was invited as the formal speaker of the symposium of 4th Beijing international art biennale 2010, Beijing, China. Presently working on a KHOJ project, show from 15th august 2014.
