I was born in 1972 in Tehran, Iran. I have my B.A in Photography and M.A in Graphic design from Azad University in the same city and country. Now, I am a student in the Multimedia Art major in Berkeley City College in California in the United states. I am a member of Open Five group and a member of Institute for Promotion of Visual Arts in Iran and a member of WEAD, Women Environmental Art Directory, In the USA.
I have had 3 solo photo exhibitions, and I have been participated in more than 34 photo and art exhibitions and competitions in Iran, Canada, USA, London, Italy, Iraq. Also, participating in more than 17 environmental art and contemporary art festivals from 2004 to 2011.
Statement
I have been struck by the beauty and majesty of nature in its many different forms. Both the love of the journey and nature; itself have become the inspiration for most of my work. When I am in nature, I gain a sense of the totality of life, of nature in its fullness, and this form me as an experience of birth, life, and death in their simultaneity and in their completeness. I believe nature itself is both the essence and the vision of my art.
As the boundaries of arts seem to be changing , these transitions have affected my photography so that now my work is somewhere between performance, photography and site specific installation.
I believe in and trust the intuitive creative process to reveal and give from to unconscious and deeper mysterious truths.
