Qiu Ping was born 1961 in Wuhan, China. She currently lives and works in Berlin, Germany. She studied at Zhejiang Fine Art Academy in Hangzhou, China and Hochschule der Künste (HdK) in Berlin, Germany. She was granted at Pollock-Krasner Foundation in New York; “Artists in lab”; Pro Helvetia, Switzerland; Artists Houses Worpswede; ifa, Germany; Hauptstadtkulturefonds Berlin
