Working at the Mirramu Creative Arts Centre, Bungendore, NSW, Australia, I have created a Sculpture Park where my larger works in stone can be seen in a magnificent natural bush land setting. I have attended stone carving symposiums in Australia and Internationally in China and joined the Artist-in-residence program at the Yatoo Nature Artist’s Centre in South Korea. I have taken part in numerous group shows where my two and three-dimensional work has received critical acclaim. A love and knowledge of materials informs my art practice. I investigate a material’s inherent sculptural possibilities through line, form, shape, texture and colour. Nature provides me with the inspiration to express, not only the nature of materials, but also the nature of beauty and inspires inner reflection. This is the essence of my work.
