I have finished my last project for YATOO-i Autumn Season's Art Workshop 2016 and it is attached.
The work is titled Seeds on Migration. I made it from native aster flowers that have now gone to seed.
It was completed in late November 2016 in the woods of New York State, U.S.A.
The project is meant to be an interactive work that celebrates cycles in nature.
My holding up the bird to the wind will disperse the fluffy seeds into the air to create more plants that migrating birds eat.

I found some red leaves of wine and some willow twigs - and a beautiful willow with a secret place which urged me to create this work.
It was cold and foggy this autumn day, but doing my work I forgot about it.

someone posted a group of sick in a C shape ..I prefer the enclosed circle.
So I went to the beach of Lake Michigan and fond the driftwood sticks that have no bark on them and made the circle…
