Promising the stone, 2012
The stone does not lose or gain anything from your promise. Don’t make a promise you cannot realize.
No matter how compelled, culpable or the responds you have to give to someone, it is safe not to make any promises, even if you mean keeping them. Promises can let people down and frustrated when you are not able to keep them. People often lose the trust they have in us when we fail them. It is important we commit ourselves to the promises we have already made and follow through.
